Please note: Sorry, no stag or hen parties.. Completed in late 2022, Rosefern is a stunning detached house of contemporary design with underfloor heating throughout. Tintagel is inextricably linked to the legend of King Arthur and is steeped in history. A visit to the English Heritage site of Tintagel Castle, where legend and historical fact alike meet stunning scenery, is a definite must while in the area and for Arthurian enthusiasts it is unmissable! There are many beaches in the area for surfers and sunseekers alike including Trebarwith Strand, Bossiney and the Castle Beach all in walking distance along beautiful coastal paths. Much of the North Cornish coastline is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities with many well-trodden routes.
There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover along this coastline including Crackington Haven and Boscastle. A bit further to the south is the fishing port of Padstow and quaint Port Isaac of Doc Martin fame and 20 miles to the north is the fabulous coastal town of Bude. If you fancy crossing over the ‘border’ into Devon and enjoy open spaces then Dartmoor National Park is 33 miles or so to the east – here you can enjoy a day of walking and discover the vast moorland and roam the craggy landscape, defined by forests, rivers, wetlands and rock formations or tors. Or search the Neolithic tombs, Bronze Age stone circles and abandoned medieval farmhouses in this amazing landscape!

We were a party of 8 plus a toddler. We had a wonderful stay at Rosefern Cottage. The house was fabulous, roomy, great location, a minute from the village. The owner was only a text away and happy to answer any questions. We couldn’t find the travel cot 🙄🤣Tintagel is a great place to stay, lots of beaches close by and a great place to explore North Cornwall. Would definitely recommend.

From arriving to departure the accommodation was perfect, all the rooms were clean and well furnished, the en-suites were small but manageable. Wonderful view from the Living room, plenty of Hot water, could have been a few more Washing machine tablets and bags for the bin. The accommodation was clean and tidy when we arrived. Perfect location for exploring the north coast of CornwallWould certainly recommend this place
