The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions, though some guests have raised issues with the steep access and parking difficulties.

Millbrook is situated on the Rame Peninsula, sometimes known as "Cornwall's Forgotten Corner," at the beginning of a tidal creek that flows into the Hamoaze and is directly across from Plymouth, the world's largest naval city. The region is largely rural and recognised as having Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is bordered by the Lynher and Tamar rivers, the Hamoaze, and the sea. The village offers a decent selection of stores and bars, and the charming seaside villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, from where you can catch a ferry to Plymouth, are nearby. There are miles of lovely treks with breathtaking views of Rame Head along the southern margins of the peninsula. Whitsand Bay, with its miles of empty, sandy rnli-patrolled beach and magnificent cliffs, is only a mile south of Millbrook. a great place to start exploring Cornwall's wild side.

Everything you need. It was quite windy towards the end of our stay and it howled around the bungalow more so with the elevated position. A small price to pay for a great view. Would recommend this place.

Great views. Great touch having scones, milk, tea coffee sugar available. Will be looking into staying next year. Enjoyed the book about the history of the cottage and book about the area. Could not find information on what could be recycled and on heating. Unable to get the blind down in the bathroom.

The kitchen is well equipped for 3 people. There is no dishwasher. Three more outdoor chairs on the terrace would also be helpful for 5 people. Perfect as a starting point for further exploration of Dartmoor or Bodmin Moor.
