Northern Lights is a well-loved family holiday home in Cornwall, praised for its immaculate cleanliness, superb location with easy beach access, and well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the property's warm atmosphere and the convenience of having a garden and parking. Some guests suggest improvements in comfort, particularly regarding seating support, and note the potential for additional bathroom facilities to accommodate larger groups.
Guests consistently describe the property as clean, with specific mentions of its immaculate condition. The presence of spiders in some corners suggests minor room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and easy access to local attractions. The direct path to the beach is a highlight, although it could be better signposted.
The property is generally considered comfortable, with cosy sofas and good bedding. However, some guests found the seating lacking in support, and the mattresses could be updated for better comfort.
The facilities are good overall, with a well-equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom. Points are deducted for maintenance issues like loose kickboards and a smoky grill. The outside shower's temperature control and the need for an additional loo are noted.
There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.

Fitted our needs perfectly. The location was even better once we'd discovered the direct path to the beach, which isn't signposted. We spent the first two days toiling up and down to the beach via the road. But the short straight path gives much easier access. A brilliant stay. We'd recommend

Forgot to write in the book before leaving ! Lovely quiet spot but easy access to beach down the path in front. Only missed a 5star for comfort as we both have dodgy backs and found the sofa and chair lacking in support! Very Well equipped in the kitchen. The grill was VERY Smokey so was a bit reluctant to use it. Overall great and weâd definitely come again! Lovely to have a garden and parking too!

A light, bright and clean property. Super kitchen and dining area, very well equipped. Lovely sitting room with comfy sofas and a distant view of the sea. Great bathroom and three good size bedrooms. Fantastic location, just a five minute walk through a wooded path to Polzeath Beach. And easy access to Daymer Bay, Rock and Padstow. When we return to North Cornwall we would definitely consider staying at Northern Lights again.
