A village store can be found in Whitstone, a tiny Cornish settlement halfway between Launceston and the beach town of Bude. The beach in Widemouth Bay, together with numerous bays and inlets, is located six miles from Whitstone. The seaside village of Bude, with its fantastic beaches and year-round surfing, is only seven miles from Whitstone. In addition to having a fantastic golf course, an indoor pool, a bowling alley/indoor play area, and an excellent assortment of neighbourhood stores, supermarkets, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, Bude is located along the South West Coast Path. An excellent place to take a family vacation any time of year.

Foxglove Cottage is a delight with comfortable good quality furniture and complimentary art work throughout. The kitchen is well equipped even down to tea bags, sugar, coffee and S&P. The shared outside space is extensive and on a clear day you can see the sea! It is well situated to visit Bude and Widemouth Bay and also for trips further afield. We would definitely recommend a stay

It was very well equipped and there was even a welcoming hamper of milk, wine, apple juice, scones, jam, clotted cream and biscuits! The owners live in a house within the grounds and were friendly and helpful. They had obviously put a great deal of thought and effort into making the cottage a real home from home, with a separate laundry room, lots in a games room that would be useful on a wet day, and a large picnic table and benches with views over the countryside.

The lovely hosts Jennie and Paul welcomed us to an immaculate and nicely decorated cottage. We loved sitting out in the evenings watching the sunset, the kids loved the play area and games in such a quiet area itâs ideal for family breaks! The local theme park was a hit with our girls including the bird of prey show! Beaches are beautiful, we will be booking again! Thank you :-)
