Benches and gazebos are dotted throughout the gardens, each offering its own special view or a quiet corner to relax. Though the setting is wonderfully quiet and secluded, you’re only five miles from Axminster and Chard with their independent shops and eateries, and just eleven miles from the dramatic Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis—where clifftop walks, fossil hunting, and sea air await.

What a gem of a place this is, set in the most beautiful grounds. Accommodation was as expected, well equipped great heating and hot water. Faultles. Added bonus of having the electric car charger was very convenient

Beautiful accommodation and surroundings, host's were helpful but not intrusive, I would recommend that if you are a nervous driver I would make sure you have all food etc with you when you arrive as the local roads combined with bad data reception and Google maps makes driving to shops,pubs/restaurants interesting to say the least. All in all an ideal place for rest and relaxation and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a staycation 10/10,5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐24 carat and any other top plaudits apply thanks again for a lovely stay

Carol was one of the warmest hosts I've ever had! We had such a lovely time in this gorgeous cottage set on a really peaceful and beautiful site. We were able to freely explore the extensive grounds and particularly enjoyed sitting in the orangery. Carol came to meet us when we arrived and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. She even gave us a late checkout because there was no-one booked in for the same day, which was such a blesing! We enjoyed exploring the local area and in particular Lyme Regis. Would highly recommend this place, we'd love to come back again! And just to top it off, a very reasonable price! Thank you Carol for having us!
