Only ate in restaurant once but was lovely. You definitely need to drive to get to beaches etc but lots nearby

Nice site in a good location but disappointed about the level of cleanliness in the lodges.Despite not being able to check in until 5pm due to enhanced, Covid related cleaning, the cleanliness of the lodge did not live up to expectations. Dirty linen left on the side in one of the bedrooms, the previous occupants dinner remaining on various surfaces in the kitchen and dining area, dirty kitchen sink, crumbs on the dining chairs. The place just felt like it could do with a thorough clean. They certainly don’t move the furniture in the living area to clean around it. The staff were of course very apologetic but the levels of cleaning did not meet my usualstandards, let alone in the middle of a pandemic. I would be concerned about the level of cleanliness of the lodges once the full holiday season begins.
