Outside, you will find a wonderful garden full of shrubs and with an extensive lawn area, perfect for al fresco dining, as well as a raised patio and summerhouse to sit and take in the rural views over the Devon countryside beyond.
The village of Whitford is a rural location with stone cottages and thatched building. Surrounded by farmland and situated on the River Axe there is an abundance of pet friendly countryside walks close by. The village hall has a bar night which is open to non residents on Thursday evenings with other events regularly held. The neighbouring village of Musbury offers a pub and a convenience store where you can stock up on essentials, and you can take a stroll through the beautiful countryside at Musbury Castle hillfort. A short drive away you will find the historic market town of Colyton and in terms of beaches, Seaton beach is just over a four-mile drive, where you can explore the Jurassic Coast, enjoy popular water sports and enjoy a stroll in the salty air, before ending your day with a glass of your favourite beverage in hand at one of the local pubs.

The only thing was the bins . Someone was putting their empty wine bottles in Byeways bins after the bin men had emptied them . We only had a bit of paper in the recycling bin , when I went to bring them in , the paper had gone but someone had filled it with wine bottles! After they had been emptied! We Donât drink Wine ! !

We had a lovely stay in Byeways very comfortable and everything we needed, the summerhouse was nice but needs a bit of tlc as the door doesnât close properly and also the door to the garden from lounge catches but otherwise a very lovely bungalow
