The Stables is in a beautiful rural setting, it is peaceful with lovely views. The cottage is spacious and 4 of the bedrooms are en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped, and the dining room and lounge generously proportioned with a wood burner. We went in November and the cottage was warm all weekend. The owners had left milk, tea and biscuits which was very welcome. The village is a 17 minute walk and has 2 pubs. We also enjoyed the 45 walk to Seaton via the Wetland centre. Recommend highly and would return.

Great autumn place to stay with friends. Fully equipped, met all our needs. Easy reach to Seaton, Lyme Regis and Sidmouth. Host was super friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault the accommodation. Will come again.

We stayed for a short weekend but our host was responsive and willing to delay our key collection on the day we were meant to arrive which was greatly appreciated. The area was beautiful and the house was clean and cosy, would definitely recommend staying here.
