The location is highly regarded for its beautiful estuary views, proximity to Exmouth, and access to local walks and attractions. Some guests noted the busy road outside and minor parking difficulties, but these did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.
Guests consistently praised the spaciousness, comfortable beds, and en-suite bathrooms, making the property ideal for large groups and families. A few minor comments were made about a mattress and road noise in front bedrooms, but overall comfort was rated very highly.
The house is exceptionally well-equipped, with a standout games room, modern kitchen, and ample amenities for large groups. Guests appreciated the thoughtful touches such as board games, information folders, and quality furnishings. Minor maintenance issues (e.g., garden furniture, patio, chipped plates) were noted but did not significantly impact enjoyment.
Some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like Christmas decorations and a helpful information folder. However, a welcome pack was expected by some but not received, and gifts or extras are not guaranteed. Overall, the property shows care in guest experience, though consistency could be improved.

Exmouth, Devon’s oldest seaside resort, has a busy little harbour to the west and high red cliffs with coastal paths to the east. Exmouth’s main attraction is the 2 miles of beach, and there is also the Exe Estuary, home to numerous species of wildlife and a favourite with birdwatchers. There are walks close by, including the Jurassic Coast with its stunning views. From the coastal path, you can experience sheer cliff faces and strangely eroded rock formations. Exmouth is the place for water sports, or why not enjoy a river cruise on the Exe Estuary with views of Starcross, Powderham Castle, Topsham and Lympstone. Exeter is a short train ride along the estuary with its historic cathedral and shops, it has plenty to do if the weather is a little dull, from shopping and bowling to indoor climbing and numerous museums. Golf, fishing and horse riding are available locally, and for family fun, Crealy Great Adventure Park and Go Ape Forest Adventure are close by. For a great day out, why not take a trip to Powderham Castle or the National Trust treasures of Castle Drogo and Killerton. There is first class cricket at Taunton, only a train ride away, as well as top flight rugby with the Chiefs in Exeter. Pamper yourself at Lympstone Manor, or just visit for afternoon tea or a Michelin starred dining experience. Beach 2 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

A lovely holiday home which easily accommodated our party of 9 adults. Very comfortable and well-equipped. The views over the estuary are stunning and the house and outside areas make the most of those views. Lots of amenities in Exmouth and some local shops and pubs are in walking distance. A visit to A La Ronde, a few minutes’ walk away, is a must. Only slight negative is parking. We took 3 cars and there was just enough room. 4 cars, unless they are compact, would be difficult.

Really spacious and well presented holiday home for 5 couples with amazing views. Great equipment - especially the games room.

Great house with fabulous views over the estuary. As a group of 10 adults (5 couples) we especially enjoyed the 5 bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms, along with the modern good sized kitchen/living room. The games room was superb with very good quality table football, pool table and dart board plus a table tennis table outside on the lower patio area. The host was extremely helpful allowing us to store some perishable items in the fridge before the permitted arrival time. Thank you :)
