Pebbles lies just 100 yards from the Exe estuary, where there is a sandy play area, perfect for the children. This terraced, 18th-century, former fisherman’s cottage is situated in the heart of the quaint fishing village of Lympstone. The property has some quirky features, including an original fireplace, and the single bedroom, with its sloping ceilings, has a small play/den area. The cottage has been decorated to offer a wonderful base for a family holiday or for friends to get together.
On the Exe estuary, midway between the old port of Topsham and the seaside resort of Exmouth, here, the beautiful sandy beaches and rock pools are at the start of the Jurassic Coast and form part of the South West Coastal Path. The estuary has a picturesque harbour, is a renowned nature reserve, and a haven for wildlife and migrating birds. The village has a number of pubs that serve lunchtime and evening meals, and a shop, all within easy walking distance. Crealy Adventure Park is just 3 miles away and for cyclists there are many cycle ways. There is a cycle way which runs from Exmouth, through Lympstone and onto Topsham and the Exeter canal, running most of the way alongside the river. There are many National Trust properties, all waiting to be explored. The city of Exeter is within easy reach, Woodbury common is on the doorstep and Dartmoor is an easy drive. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 50 yards.

Good value, a bit dated, but its in the centre of Lympstone by the pub and near the stationits Parking space is a essential for the area, used serval times, as a base to see family in the area, will book again, would look at some point to purchases a similar properties in the area.

Bargain holiday cottage in excellent location for train station, pub and shop. Beware early morning pub deliveries at the pub on a few days a week will likely wake you up. Remember to bring your own towels. Otherwise well equipped.
