Guests say

Rose Cottage at Treaslake Farm receives positive feedback for its cleanliness, comfort, and idyllic location in Devon. Guests appreciate the well-maintained property, comfortable beds, and dog-friendly garden. The cottage is praised for its spaciousness and home comforts, including a proper coffee machine. While some minor maintenance issues and a misunderstanding regarding the property's seclusion were noted, the overall experience is reported to be very enjoyable, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests report that Rose Cottage is spotlessly clean and well maintained. One review mentioned an uncleaned upstairs toilet, but this seems to be an isolated incident as it contrasts with the otherwise consistent praise for cleanliness.

The location is generally appreciated for its quietness and proximity to tourist towns and beaches. However, one guest mentioned loud music from a nearby property, and another was disappointed by the proximity to neighbours, expecting more seclusion.

Guests find the cottage very comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Child gates and hard mattresses in the twin room were minor discomforts for some guests.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a fully equipped kitchen and enclosed garden for dogs. Some guests noted issues such as a poorly fitted toilet seat and a lack of instructions for the coffee machine. Building work nearby was a temporary inconvenience for one guest.

While guests appreciate the facilities and amenities provided, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Fantastic location. Really clean and good for dog we had with us. Enclosed garden space and great walks locally.

  • Ben

The photos of the cottage location are misleading. The photos suggest that it's on it's own, surrounded by fields (which is what we were looking for) when in fact right outside the garden you're directly overlooked by several other neighbours. Overall we had a nice stay, but these things were disappointing.

Clean and has all the home comforts, including a proper coffee machine!! Enclosed garden for the dog which was nice.
