Lovely spacious lodge. Couple of minor problems, one being plug in ensuite sink did not hold the water, a new light bulb needed in bedside lamp. Mattress on double bed needs replacing soon though as some of the springs have gone.

The lodge was only just ready when we arrived at 5.45pm, The hot tub was not at a temperature to use either until the following day.Considering the Lodge was a signature Spa, I am not sure what was signature about it!!! Extremely tatty Lodge from the outside and all the enclosure around the hot tub was broken and left it very un private. All plants and bushes edging deck where overgrown.The inside was ok, but the cooker hood front was missing completely which made it look very tatty and no grill pan and very limited on Kitchen items.The fishing lake (which I'm sure didn't have any fish in it) is overgrown an unkept.The situation of the lodges is down the bottom of a housing estate and not very desirable for an area of outstanding beauty. I would not return unfortunately.

The lodge was very roomy and comfortable. The hot tub had been cleaned out, refilled and treated before our arrival and we were able to park next to our lodge. Our particular lodge (40) was visible from the road so some subtle screening, similar to that of the other lodges, would be beneficial, however it was so peaceful and quiet there was hardly any passing traffic (pedestrians or otherwise) and this didn't stop us having a really enjoyable break. We were able to book when the lodge was on offer so our break was excellent value for money.
