The house was spacious, light, and in an excellent location. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everythig needed for a cooking fest, should you chose this! Both double beds were very comfortable. Sadly there were a few things that let the house down. The first was the fact that many of the windows did not close fully, leading to drafts - particularly in the lounge, which made it uncomfortable to relax at times. The second was the heating system which seemed to come on at random times, and we did not seem to be able to put the radiators on in the lounge other than very early in the evening. The bath needed a good clean before use, and we were very glad to find cleaning products in the kitchen.

Short downhill walk to the park and beach. Beds were so comfortable and the apples in the garden were a real treat. With 3 hungry boys we did struggle to get to grips with the speed of the Aga so the owners guide to places to eat in and around Seaton was invaluable!

We felt at home straightaway and enjoyed our time here cooking, eating and relaxing. The apple and blackberry and rhubarb crumbles from the fallers were an unexpected delight. The AGA managed us! The position in a quiet lane allowed us to be away from the hustle and bustle but was an easy walk to the sea. A fantastic holiday base.
