A lovely quiet spot with pub and shop a short walk away, and we could walk down to the sea too, via the riverside path. Only downside to the cottage was a very thin wall in one of the bedrooms, so you could clearly hear the neighbours, but fortunately we didn’t need to use that room.

We thought some earlier comments were a bit unkind. There are issues - shower cubicle small, one radiator not functioning and perhaps a little tired; some of these constrained by the history of the cottage, but the cottage is comfortable (and the shower adequate!), in a beautiful spot ideal for enjoying the Devon scenery, close to amenities- in short, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to return. Many thanks to all!
