Shame that the listing has not been updated to state that the Black Dog Inn is no longer open closing in 2023. The accommodation was excellent.

Very comfortable and well equipped. Remote and quiet, a real escape. However, if you love your car, the long single track road to the cottage may not be for you. My Octavia is not a tractor but it looked like one after our visit and needed a deep clean and polish to erase the score marks down both sides. And our car is a workhorse serving our needs to carry bikes and materials for our allotment!

A beautiful converted barn. Very clean and well thought out. Lovely shower, comfy bed. We really enjoyed being on a working farm watching the sheep and cows come home, literally right past our kitchen window. Brilliant! Hen and Ollie were very friendly as well as their 3 well behaved dogs
