A lovely authentic 'Canadian' log cabin in a peaceful rural setting. The cabin was situated near to the owner's property and was extremely well equipped, clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cabin is situated in east Devon, not too far from the small town of Wellington and was a good base from which to explore Exeter, Exmoor and the north and south coasts. A view of the Blackdown hills was visible from the patio during the day and at night it was pleasant listening to owls and watching the bats catching insects. I would thoroughly recommend 'Danoon' if you want to relax in peaceful surroundings.

Excellent property with stunning views along with great hospitality, what more do you need! From start to finish everything was excellent. We were met by the host who was very friendly and everything in the property was ready for us. The location was fabulous, peaceful with a stunning views. Property is a really great size and the bedrooms were of a great size. All the equipment was more then sufficient for us and it all worked and so did the wifi. The underfloor heating kept the cabin warm and parking is right outside the cabin. Great location for acces to the the National parks, Cheddar caves, Roman baths in Bath, seaside and so much more. The hospitality provided was second to none, upon arrival milk was provided and also Easter eggs and lovely cupcakes. We would definitely comeback to this gem of a property. Thank you very much for creating great memories for us all. Nothing- everything was excellent.
