Dulverton and Tiverton offer lots of amenities, and there are many country pastimes in this rural area, including fishing at Wimbleball and Clatworthy, Exmoor safaris through spectacular windswept moors, walking the Exe Valley Way, horseback riding across the moor, and cycling along the Lowman Way. North Devon has wonderful treks, coves, sandy beaches, and views of Wales. Bampton is near North Devon and Exmoor National Park.

We should have been in the Farmhouse, but it had a leak. We really appreciate that our host was able to offer alternative accommodation at such short notice. Bluebell was lovely and warm and offers great views over the valley. It was built very recently and has a few snags to sort out, but I'm sure it will provide many happy holidays to families who will enjoy the open plan living and underfloor heating. Dog owners need to be aware that the garden is not enclosed.
