Located in an incredible central position to explore the natural beauty of North Devon’s beaches and Exmoor National Park. This stunning, light stone barn situated across the dam at South West Lake’s Wistlandpound is amazing..

We had a lovely week staying at the barn. The hosts were very friendly and made some great recommendations for the area. They had popped some essentials in for us to enjoy - milk in the fridge, tea and coffee. Even a cake. Very peaceful even for a working farm. The back door to the enclosed garden we found very stiff and may not be manageable for older visitors. We used this as our entrance / exit as the other property had guests with a dog using the shared courtyard. We were able to park by the garden fence which was very handy. The back garden fence is low - allowing for lovely views and the gate doesn’t fully close / latch. Our older dog was fine with this but a smaller dog or a good jumper would be able to get out.

If you are looking to get away for a peaceful break it is perfect. Owners Andrew & Sarah could not do more for you. Lovely welcome pack, just unpack and unwind, beautiful walks around thd adjacent reservoir. The Tractor Barn is very comfortable and fit for the whole family.
