With 8 boutique bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 3 log burners and a large sun-soaked terrace boasting a hot tub, barbecue and spellbinding views, Coulscott House is the perfect spot for those much-anticipated family get-togethers.

Step inside this opulent home to discover period features, twinkling chandeliers and feature fireplaces, the whole space oozes with timeless charm. The dining room ignites special family moments, here you will also find a secret bookcase door, connecting the east wing (Georgian House) and the west wing (Old Farmhouse) of Coulscott House, offering a touch of Agatha Christie mystique! Retreat to the luxurious sitting room, decorated with pops of teal blue creating a calming ambiance, while being warmly lit by the crackling wood-burning stove. Or why not hide away in the snug housing a 50 inch Smart television, or the secondary sitting room. Both kitchens are spacious and fully equipped with dual range cookers, induction cooktop and range hobs. Bedroom three completes the ground floor, with a 6’ super king size bed (can be converted to twin singles, on request) and an en-suite shower room.

Retreat upstairs to find seven beautifully presented bedrooms. You can choose from a super king size four poster room with an en-suite shower room, a super king size bedroom, two king size rooms with en-suite shower rooms, two twin rooms and one single room. There are also two family bathrooms, one in the east wing and one in the west wing, both complete with a bath, shower, WC and wash basin.

The outside space is just as special. Your large patio area tempts family feasts over the barbecue on balmy summer evenings, and the hot tub invites you to unwind under starlight as the day draws to a close. If you’d rather sit back and unwind a private chef is available and offers everything from a buffet to a seven course tasting menu. There’s plenty of spots to soak up the Devonshire sun, whether on the sun loungers or gathered around the table, countryside views can be enjoyed from all angles! You also have your own private games room with table tennis and other games to while away the days.

Coulscott House is situated at Coulscott Cottages, a private estate boasting a plethora of additional facilities to enjoy during your stay. Whether you wish to swim in the wonderful indoor heated swimming pool or explore 17 acres of unspoilt countryside. Discover beautiful gardens, meandering footpaths, ponds, meadows, streams, an orchard and a wonderful kitchen garden, where you can pick your own vegetables and herbs to enjoy with dinner! Other facilities include; a games room, wooden playground, lookout seating area, 5 a-side football pitch, a badminton and tennis court, croquet, boules, cricket and a pitch and putt golf course. You can also say hello to the friendly animals on site or enjoy some self care with a private yoga session, relaxing facial or massage in the comfort of your holiday haven, just speak with the owner directly.

If you wish to book a smaller retreat, stay in either the Georgian House, sleeping up to eleven guests or the Old Farmhouse, welcoming six guests.

The shared heated indoor swimming pool is open daily from 7am-10pm.
