Being the original homestead on the estate, Old Farmhouse exudes irresistible luxury and historic charm, with aged beams and features that date back to the Sixteenth Century. The kitchen is the heart of the home, where special family memories ignite. Fully equipped with everything you’ll need to rustle up family dinners, including a 5-hob range cooker with a double oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There's also a washing machine for your convenience. Enjoy dining around the grand central island crowned with a gorgeous marble top, or retreat to the dining area with a lovely table seating 6 guests.

The expansive L-shaped living and dining area boasts a cosy sitting room, oozing with character, aged wooden beams, exposed stonework and an enchanting minstrel’s gallery. Comfort is promised here, with sumptuous sofas to sink into after the day’s adventures, as you warm your toes by the roaring wood burning stove. Enjoy rolling valley views from all windows or pop on the television and watch your favourite comfort movie. Bedroom two completes the ground floor, housing a super king size bed (can be converted as twin singles, on request) and an en-suite wet room (please note, there are three steps up into the en-suite).

Retreat upstairs, where two charming bedrooms await. Bedroom one exudes opulence with a super king size, four-poster bed, ready to lull you into a sweet slumber, and an en-suite shower room adorned with marble. Enjoy sweeping countryside vistas while tucking into breakfast in bed. Bedroom three hosts two comfortable 3’ twin beds, with calming green tones and a magical skylight window for bedtime stargazing! The family bathroom completes the first floor, with a bath with overhead shower, WC and wash basin.

The outside space is nothing short of special, where a private south-facing lawn and terrace await. The barbecue tempts family feasts on balmy summer evenings, where you are invited to soak in your blissful surroundings until the moon and stars appear. As dusk settles, slip into your secluded hot tub and let your worries simply melt away.

Old Farmhouse is situated at Coulscott Cottages, a private estate boasting a plethora of additional facilities to enjoy during your stay. Whether you wish to swim in the wonderful indoor heated swimming pool or explore 17 acres of unspoilt countryside. Discover beautiful gardens, meandering footpaths, ponds, meadows, streams, an orchard and a wonderful kitchen garden, where you can pick your own vegetables and herbs to enjoy with dinner! Other facilities include; a games room, wooden playground, lookout seating area, 5 a-side football pitch, a badminton and tennis court, croquet, boules, cricket and a pitch and putt golf course. You can also say hello to the friendly animals on site or enjoy some self care with a private yoga session, relaxing facial or massage in the comfort of your holiday haven, just speak with the owner directly.

Should you be looking for a larger holiday home, Coulscott House welcomes up to 15 guests, combining the beauty of both the Old Farmhouse and the Georgian House, where the whole family can come together and enjoy this exquisite home.
