Following the staircase up to the first floor, you’re met with the open-plan kitchen/living/dining room, flooded with natural light from the patio doors framing the magnificent seaside view. Enjoy a film night on one of the comfy sofas around the Smart TV or whip up a locally sourced meal in the well-equipped kitchen, to be enjoyed around the stylish dining table. Invite the outside in and soak up the surrounding scenery on the gorgeous balcony and dine alfresco long into the evening. As day turns to night, retreat to the second floor to find three wonderfully bright and light bedrooms, with the master featuring a stunning Juliet balcony, maximising the superb sea views.
The seaside town of Ilfracombe boasts a historic harbour, with Damien Hirst’s statue Verity standing guard at the entrance, plus plenty of independent cafes, shops and ice cream parlours to keep you busy. Join up with the South West Coast Path from the headland to be rewarded with dramatic clifftop scenery and views across the bay and out to sea. Explore the area at its best watery angle by hopping aboard a boat trip from the Victorian harbour half a mile away to spot plenty of wild sea life along your journey. Pack a picnic and take a trip over to Lundy Island on a steamer to explore the unique island renowned for its puffins.
