The idyllic setting is perfect for a friends or family getaway to the coast, and the property sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms. Local attractions are a short stroll away, with the Ilfracombe Aquarium, a sandy beach, and the harbour all under 500 feet from the doorstep. On your return, shake the sand from your shoes, pop sandy towels and damp clothes into the utility room for a refresh in the handy washing machine and tumble dryer, then step into the ground-floor shower room: just what you need after a day on the beach!

The brightly coloured exterior and the nautical theme running through the interior of the house, means the property perfectly complements its harbourside setting. Quirky patterns and an ocean-inspired colour scheme adorn the soft furnishings, and details in the decor create a homely atmosphere. On the ground floor is the open-plan kitchen/diner. The American-style fridge/freezer will store enough supplies for large dinners, and you can prepare meals all together, as there’s more than enough space for everyone. Sit around the long dining table to eat, sharing stories over food, and once empty plates are in the dishwasher, why not play a game to start the evening off? There’s soft seating as well, so you can settle down with the remote for a film night on the TV/DVD – you certainly won’t have to go far to fetch the microwave popcorn. Upstairs on the first floor is a lounge with comfortable sofas and SkyTV/DVD, so your party has plenty of options. Younger guests can break away and find their own space, or some can be watching a favourite programme in one room while others enjoy quietly reading a book in another. However you choose to relax, when you’re ready say goodnight, climb the stairs to either the first or second floor, and pick one of the four pretty bedrooms to rest your head in.
