Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of reviews highlight the spotless interior of 'The Cabin', with guests frequently mentioning the cleanliness as a standout feature. There is a single mention of weeds and a need for front door cleaning, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.

The location is praised for its proximity to local amenities, beaches, and the North Devon coast. The convenience of a bus stop and the presence of a fish & chip shop opposite are appreciated. Some guests noted the surprise of children congregating for the school bus, but this was not seen as a significant issue.

Comfort is generally well-regarded, with mentions of spaciousness and comfortable beds. However, there is a negative comment about a king bed with a mattress that sinks in the middle, suggesting a need for replacement, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are highly rated, with guests satisfied with the well-equipped kitchen, secure garden for dogs, and ample parking. The property is described as having everything needed for a holiday. A few minor maintenance issues are noted, but they do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, such as welcome packs with tea, coffee, sugar, milk, and treats for both humans and dogs. While these gifts are greatly appreciated, it is politely noted that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Abi was very helpful and always on hand should I have any questions. The cabin is immaculately clean, comfy beds and has everything you need, lots of things to entertain us on a rainy day. Beach is a 20 minute walk, co op a 3 minute walk. We are already looking at booking again next year.
