The station for the Lynton & Barnstaple Steam Railway is only 3 miles, and the coastal resort of Ilfracombe just 19.5 miles. Lynton is also centrally placed between Minehead 18miles, Ilfracombe 20 miles and Woolacombe 22 miles.
