- Lovely and clean - Comfy beds - Well equipped kitchen, with a few instant coffee and tea and uht milk sachets on arrival. - Instant response from team when we had a query. Not so Good - No kitchen basics (eg salt and pepper) so donât forget them. There were a few dishwasher tabs is all. - A number of passive aggressive notices telling you what to do when leaving. (Strip beds and put in linen bags, vacuum any dog hair, bag up towels, leave it clean, empty dishwasher etc). And to be GONE BY 10am. It was a little excessive. I donât know if people generally leave the house in a state, but Iâve never been harangued in advance in quite the same way. - Hot water ran out every day - and we donât take long showers (and were only 4 people!) . Iâm not sure if the boiler just needs to be on longer? It didnât seem to reheat after morning showers, so when swimming and wanting a shower later, it was an issue. Note - we didnât complain at the time, they may have been able to adjust something. But be aware! - I gave 5 stars as it really is a lovely house, even with the above.

I did request more than once for the zip/link beds to be separated but to no avail. Fortunately I slept on the good-sized bunk bed although it was supposedly be for children. I could feel the springs from the middle of the mattress so slept on top of one duvet while putting the other over me which was fine. We couldnât get terrestrial TV only digital which requested a password which we didnât have. There were no instructions either. The design of the legs on the coffee table was considered dangerous in case we tripped over so we moved it out of the way. There were no egg cups so I improvised using an attachment from the food processor.
