Combesgate Beach and Sandy Cove are within 1.5 miles and are also fabulous for swimming, rock-pooling and scenic strolls. Join the South West Coast Path, which is just 500 metres away for miles of clifftop walking, and visit National Trust beauty spots such as Morte Point and Baggy Point. For day trips, visit Croyde just 5 miles away, or head to Ilfracombe (6 miles) for harbour walks and boat trips to Lundy Island (seasonal). Family favourites include Combe Martin Wildlife & Dinosaur Park (11 miles).

The sunny south-facing front area is perfect for morning coffee, while the private rear garden patio is set up for al fresco dining with outdoor seating and a BBQ. The outdoor shower is a welcome addition after sandy beach trips, and there’s secure storage for surfboards, bikes and beach gear.
