Quite strange not to have a welcome pack with information on local amenities, places to eat etc. The fridge was off and closed and had been for some time and had a rather unpleasant smell. We could not use for open food. Only a pint of milk was left in the smelly fridge. Toilet paper was rationed to 2 rolls. No toiletries other than a tiny bar of soap, had to go to the shop and buy shower gel and shampoo, bread etc. We have stayed in much lower standard holiday let’s before and received a much higher standard of a welcome bundle.

The accommodation was excellent and the views and situation were perfect it is a great property which we saw was all on one level the problem was there is no handrail on the steps from the front gate to the front door. We saw on the photograph there may be 2 or 3 steps in fact there were 9 and no handrail. We had questioned this with the agent who contacted the owner to let us know what the step situation was. Unfortunately the owner did not get back to the agent so we went by the photograph which felt was misleading we recognise this was our choice and we would not have gone had we seen the steps. We are writing this to help inform others as the actual indoors is so accessible.Our son has both mobility and balance issues but with the right hand rail or hold we would not have had a problem. We managed with difficulty and the kindness of next door but until there is a handrail we cannot return which is a great shame as it is an ideal all on on level property beautifully maintained and with an amazing view and patio area.If any mobility or balance issues I would not risk the steps.
