A well-presented, traditional, second floor apartment situated in the centre of the town of Woolacombe, North Devon. A lovely seaside base for families and friends wishing to enjoy time together in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. The flat is reached via an external staircase leading to a communal entrance door, shared with one other flat. The spacious sitting room provides a sociable living space with sea views, plenty of light and an inviting window seat, a sunny spot to sit and gaze out to sea. The king-size double bedroom with TV and the twin bedroom share a bathroom and completing the accommodation is a fitted kitchen. The apartment feels warm and welcoming with a hallway for boots and coats, and has the benefit of an allocated parking space. The award-winning beach and village shops are just a short walk from this lovely apartment where you will find excellent surfing. Woolacombe holds the ‘England for Excellence Gold Award’ for best family resort and was voted the Best British Beach in the Mail On Sunday for its cleanliness, water quality and facilities. It is popular with families, as it is life guarded, and surfers, for the magnificent waves. Apart from beach life, the apartment is a short drive from picturesque Lynton and Lynmouth and the railway. Alternatively, take a trip to Lundy Island, or escape to the peace of Exmoor where you will find plenty of pretty villages with welcoming pubs. A wonderful holiday property.

Woolacombe has won many awards and is a fabulous holiday destination with a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants. Woolacombe lies within the North Devon Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its dramatic coastal cliffs and landscape.

The apartment is lovely with everything you need and it is very well maintained and decorated very tasteful with beautiful views of the beach and some absolutely stunning sunsets.We walked all along the perimeter of Woolacombe and Mortehoe and had some fabulous food in the beach hut, book in advance as the Sunday carvery is very popular.Lovely cream teas in the tea room at Mortehoe and great food in the Ship Aground pub in Mortehoe.Sarah and John left us some treats and the neighbours were lovely and asked if we needed any help with anything but itâs just lovely and very near to everything thatâs available within a very short walk.

Excellent communication between ourselves and the owners, prompt replies to questions and very helpful. Itâs got everything you need and is very tastefully thought out with all the little extras included for a great self catering apartment. Spotlessly clean, lovely furnishings, quality furniture., Thereâs even deckchairs, windbreak, body boards, toys for the beach and wellingtons and walking sticks. Special touches such as toiletries, cleaning products and suncream . The only negative is that itâs on a road going down into the centre so itâs an uphill walk back up. Plus its a second floor flat so thereâs quite a few stairs. So it may be a problem for those with mobility issues or pushchairs as thereâs no lift.
