This is a great base for surfing enthusiasts and walkers, being approximately one and a half miles from the award-winning golden sand surfing beach of Woolacombe Bay, as well as the village centre with its popular amenities including shops, bars, and restaurants.
Located on a quiet part of the site, this single-storey property has an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, two welcoming bedrooms and one shower room. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, an under-the-counter fridge, and a microwave. The living area has a two-seater sofa which can be used as a sofa bed for one extra guest, two armchairs, a 32" TV has Freeview and a DVD player with a selection of DVDs to choose from. The dining area next door has a set of table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a home cooked meal. The first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has a set of bunk beds, all with pocket sprung mattresses. The wet room next door has an open shower, toilet, and wash basin. Although dogs are allowed there is no outdoor area for them and you have to provide a bed for them to sit and sleep.
Woolacombe is renowned for its 3 miles of golden sand, a favourite with families, surfers, and sun worshippers. A short drive away is Croyde, with its pretty thatched roofs, and ponies clip-clopping through the town; a town where pretty charm meets another surfer’s paradise, with clean surf breaking onto grassy sand dunes. There is plenty to do in North Devon including spectacular walks on the coastal path, plenty of quaint village inns to explore and the coastal resort of Ilfracombe with shops, harbour, and aquarium. A perfect seaside holiday destination for beach lovers. Beach 1 mile. Shop, pub, and restaurant 1 mile.

The property is badly neglected.The patio door wouldn't close properly and therefore couldn't be locked.There was a damp smell throughout the property.The DVD player didn't work - it just said no disc.The sofa was very uncomfortable and all the soft furniture was threadbare.Directions to get to the property were unclear - Europa Park no longer exists.Although it is close to the beach, access is along a busy road for some of the way with no pedestrian sidewalk.The kitchen area appears to be new and is in good order.

I mean, great location, but awful stay and will not be returning. The drains absolutely stunk, we had to buy air fresheners and smellies to make it better, poor decor, bed broke three times, the slats were already broken and they didn't stay put, very uncomfortable. Sofa and futon uncomfortable and not particularly user friendly. Flooring coming away and sharp bits. Cobwebs a plenty. It's a real shame as if these bits were rectified, a fresh lick of paint and a bit more enthusiasm it would be a lovely little holiday let. Not worth the money we paid.

Would i return? Absolutely not. The property is damp, as soon as you open the door it stinks. The double mattress is lumpy, slats on bed broken or taped up. No heating in the bathroom whatsoever. The plug in heaters was broken so we had no heating for 3 days. Advertised as a holiday park it's not, it's residential. Advertised as walking distance to Woolacombe, only if you want to walk along the road as there's no paths making it very dangerous. Advertised with a shop, that burnt down 2 years ago along with the garage. Only 3 chairs around the table with made it difficult with 4 people. And if you think your getting comfortable sofas in the living as advertised, think again, because it's not! A day bed and stupid little seat that the back didn't stay up. Absolutely awful stay.
