With fantastic views out to sea, it is private and family friendly accommodation in a brilliant seaside spot. Open the stable doors into the kitchen with a dining area and head up five steps into the airy sitting room with its characterful oak floor, cosy wood burning stove and French windows which you can throw open to a sunny deck. You will find one of the bedrooms down 8 deep steps from the kitchen and the other three comfortable bedrooms on the same level as the sitting room, one en suite with brilliant sea views and another with doors to the garden.
The view from outside is exceptional too. Two decks have been raised up at the front to make the most of panoramic views across the Avon estuary and out to sea from your outdoor tables and chairs, perfect for evening drinks and leisurely alfresco dining. Below the decks is the rest of the garden consisting of safely enclosed, sheltered lawns for sunbathing and playing. With the fabulous big sandy beach just minutes from the cottage, this is an ideal location for running on the beach, playing beach cricket, making sandcastles and playing in the surf, perhaps by booking some lessons with the popular surf school which also hires out equipment.
The Coast Path is heaven for walkers with fabulous cliff top scenery, or maybe walk across the beach to fascinating Burgh Island and return on the sea tractor. Kingsbridge and Salcombe are interesting towns for shopping and eating. Cobbles Point is an exceptional holiday home for relaxing over coastal views and enjoying seaside fun.
Beautiful Bigbury-on-Sea is ideal for family holidays. Dusted with sand and lapped by shallow waters, the beach offers safe fun for children and adults alike.
