Gitcombe House is a Grade II listed Georgian manor house offering elegant and homely accomodation, with many original features including original sash windows, shutters, joinery, ceiling cornices, pantry and 'thunderbox' loo. The period furnishings throughout, combined with the spacious sitting and dining rooms, and generous bedrooms, make this the perfect holiday home for large groups, family and friends.

On arrival at your special holiday home, you will find rolling lawns and beautifully kept flower beds, and as you enter your holiday home through the pillared front porch, you are greeted with a flagstone hallway and grand brass chandelier, setting the tone of this unique and charming house, where special memories can be made.

On the ground floor you will find a generous kitchen with a relaxed breakfast seating area, and a dining room seating up to 14 guests for fine dining. The family room is perfect for keeping children entertained, and the generous sitting room filled with comfortable seating, is the perfect space for kicking back and relaxing together, after a day of fun and adventures. For ease and accessibility, there is also a ground floor bedroom with a walk-in shower room, along with a convenient laundry room. The remainder of the six bedrooms can be found on the first floor up an original sweeping staircase, and off a generous landing area, complete with antique Bagatelle table. There is a generously proportioned family bathroom to luxuriate in, with cast iron slipper bath, toilet and walk in shower with drench head and hand held shower head, plus a double sink with large mirror above, shaving sockets and storage below. There is a further separate WC across the landing, with an original working ‘thunder box’ WC, and the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom also.

The well-tended front and rear gardens offer gorgeous views across the countryside, and are the perfect space in which to relax and enjoy alfresco dining, and use of the barbecue. This 14 acre estate really does have something for everyone, whether you are looking to relax and unwind, or enjoy swimming, playing tennis or perhaps cycling, or venturing out to explore the beautiful Gitcombe Estate. Your holiday at Gitcombe House includes use of the numerous shared facilities, including a hand-carved children's playground, indoor soft play area, full-size tennis court, indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
