The Little Clock house is a charming duplex apartment for up to six guests to enjoy the vibrant harbour town of Dartmouth. Located within the town centre on the corner of Foss Street, The Little Clock House offers a relaxing break away with friends and family, with the benefit of enjoying all that Dartmouth has to offer, straight from the doorstep. From the front door, head up the stairs where you will find a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area to share with your friends and family. The kitchen is fully-equipped with an electric oven and electric hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster and washing machine, along with a sociable dining table for up to six people and plenty of snug sitting spots to watch films and programmes on the Smart TV.
Head up the second flight of stairs where you will find three spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom notable for its king size bed, dressing table, seating and wardrobe with drawers. Whilst the second bedroom also contains a king-size bed, which can be separated into two singles upon request, seating and wardrobe with drawers and the third bedroom has a double bed and tallboy. Concluding the interior is a shower room complete with shower cubicle, basin and WC and a family bathroom with a bath, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The Little Clock House is very centrally located to explore the beautiful town situated on the banks of the picturesque River Dart, as well as the cobbled streets lined with a variety of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants to enjoy.
Make the most of your time in Devon and spend your days exploring all the local attractions, including Royal Avenue Gardens, Dartmouth Museum housing the artefacts of William Cumming Henley whose home was once The Little Clock House, Bayard's Cove Fort and Dartmouth Castle, there is something for everyone here. Alternatively, enjoy breath-taking views and walks along the clifftops of Berry Head National Nature Reserve, or head to Dartmoor National Park for a relaxing woodland stroll. Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
