It leads to the triple-aspect dining room, which boasts gorgeous views and a large table for convivial meals. On the lower-ground floor, there’s a family bedroom with an en-suite shower, a double bedroom and a bathroom. The top floor, which has characterful rugged beams and sloping ceilings (some of them low in places) features another family bedroom, a double bedroom with an en-suite, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom. From your terrace you can enjoy spectacular vistas while relaxing with a BBQ. There’s also a sloping garden and parking for three cars. Guests can use the shared facilities on the farm, which has 10 acres of land to explore.

There’s plenty to do in the area, including a host of incredible beaches within 15 miles. Children will love Woodlands Family Theme Park, Paignton Zoo and the National Marine Aquarium Plymouth, all within 25 miles. For intriguing shops and great places to eat within 11 miles (don’t forget a cream tea), head to Kingsbridge, Dartmouth or Salcombe.
