Set in the heart of the South Devon, Flear House is close to many of Devon's finest Sandy Beaches to the South, East and West, within just 4-5 miles. Close to Salcombe and Kingsbridge, Flear House is perfectly connected.
Flear House is a large luxurious Georgian Country House, with beautiful gardens and a private heated outdoor pool overlooking our valley. The House is close to our giant Playbarn and also to the magnificent indoor Pool & Spa complex - for the exclusive use of our guests at Flear Farm. Flear House is set around our valley with a tennis court, 3 hole pitch & putt, paddocks with farm animals to feed and pat, and a woodland nature trail & river walk to explore, all on the property.
Flear is the perfect high quality holiday destination for large families or groups of friends with young children. Our facilities are second to none, the Playbarn and indoor pool & spa complex are weatherproof and when the sun shines, the beaches are close at hand.
The front door is set in the pillared entrance which opens into the grand Dining Hall, complete with large Inglenook fireplace and crystal chandelier - perfect for group dining and special occasions. Off to one side is the snug with an open fireplace and large TV with Freesat and a DVD player. There is also a range of toys and games for the children and little ones. The large, very well equipped kitchen with it's granite worktops and a large island also boasts a range of modern cooking options along with an Aga. Outside the Kitchen is a secure courtyard which leads to the sun terraces and gardens of Flear House. There is a large dining terrace opposite the private swimming pool and extensive lawns for picnics and a stroll, all overlooking our valley and little river below. Swimming towels included!
The oak staircase takes you up to the galleried landing, and from here the Master suite (superking en suite), two King bedrooms (king en suite), the laundry room and then a family bathroom serving two further twin (or superking) bedrooms can all be found.
The indoor pool complex is sensational, with a 40' long pool, starlit Steam room and for some serious relaxation, the Treatment Room is on hand with our in-house therapists available for massage and beauty treatments. Outside the pool complex is a sun terrace with large in-ground hot tub and sun loungers.
