Lovely out of the way location with a real Jane Austen feel to it. Accommodation is comfortable and roomy. Good welcome pack. Ideal for a family or group of friends wanting a quiet week away from it all, but also centrally located for Salcombe, Dartmouth and the Devon Coast. It is a working farm, so dogs need to be under control at all times. The farm does allocate a field for dog walking, which is helpful.

Beautifully equiped, comfortable , in a brilliant location for exploring the area. The only downside was that the house was rather cold but that was due to the inclement weather and on our one really sunny day it was perfectly OK. The arrangement with the key code box worked excellently.Would book again.

We had an excellent stay at South Lodge over the Easter weekend! Some lovely walks from the house and so much to see and do only a short drive away! Kingsbridge was really lovely to visit as well as the surrounding National Trust properties!South Wing itself has so much fascinating history, we all loved the house and surrounding farmland
