Enjoying an elevated position overlooking the town’s rooftops and surrounding countryside with the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Water's Reach is a fantastic dwelling for a group or family of five. Leave your vehicle in the off-road parking space, before climbing the stairs up to your new home from home. Look forward to whipping up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, featuring a handy washing machine and slimline dishwasher, ready to enjoy at the dining table for four over a bottle of wine. After dinner, retire to the plush seating in the sitting room, where you can kick-back and relax and enjoy a family favourite on the Smart TV with loved ones. There is also a balcony just off the sitting room, where you can soak up the amazing views on offer over the town. After a day of exploring, wash away the day with a soothing soak in the bath or a hot shower, before choosing from three well-appointed bedrooms to catch your rest in, a king-size, (which can be 2 singles on request), a double and a small double, all of which have plenty of storage for your belongings. Explore your local surroundings, where right on your doorstep, you will find a good selection of independent shops, coffee shops and the award-winning Crabshell nn, where you can treat yourselves to a lunch overlooking the pretty estuary and sample the local ales. Within the town, you can also brush up on the local history at the Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum and in the summer, catch a ferry over Salcombe, In Salcombe, you can tuck-in to fresh seafood at the Crab Shed, explore the local shops and eateries or try your hand at a wealth of watersports, including kayaking, surfing and paddleboarding at Salcombe North Sands Beach, followed by sampling the renowned Salcombe Gin at the Salcombe Distilling Company. Next stop is Bantham, where you can spend a day bathing on the golden sands of Bantham Beach, paddling the shores or learning to surf a the Bantham Surfing Academy. Kingsbridge sits near the mouth of a marine estuary in the South Hams region of South Devon, making it a popular tourist destination. A three-screen cinema, an award-winning tavern, and a plethora of independent stores can be found in Kingsbridge. Salcombe, which sits on the banks of the Kingsbridge Estuary and is one of South Devon's beautiful towns, is accessible by ferry during the summer months. Salcombe is a watersports mecca for kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, and powerboating, as well as for taking in the picturesque coastline vistas. There are a slew of independent businesses, high-end retailers, and restaurants providing locally sourced seafood, not to mention Salcombe Gin and Ice cream! As part of South Devon's South Devon Heritage Coast, Kingsbridge is an ideal location from which to explore the area's plentiful wildlife. Visitors can stroll along the Kingsbridge Quay, explore the small alleyways off Fore Street, or go to Totnes' Shambles, an Elizabethan market arcade. Sand beaches like Blackpool Sands in Stoke Fleming and the two at Thurlestone can be found throughout the South Hams, including Dartmouth and Salcombe. A number of charming towns and villages can be found in the South Hams region, including the charming seaside town of Plymouth, home to the National Marine Aquarium, the ancient Barbican Quay, and numerous places to go out and have a good time at night, including theatres, restaurants, and bars. You can go to Kingsbridge from Totnes by train and then get a local bus that will take you to the town centre.
