Be welcomed into this charming property, climbing the steps and taking in the view as you enter into the property. Mealtimes can be enjoyed in the light and airy living/dining room, where there is a stylish sofabed and Smart TV for movie nights. This property boasts an ensuite shower room, and a plush double bedroom where you can catch your rest. From the terrace, soak up the stunning sea views boasted by this property as you and your significant other toast to your getaway with a glass of fizz. There is simply so much to be explored with a stay at the delightful Bolthole.
Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Any chance of a microwave. But superb property for two, great location. Unfortunately when we arrived someone had parked in our spot.

I e-mailed on the Friday (second day of our stay) for linen but received no reply. We are reasonably fit and in our 70âs but the 40 steps up to the property are quite punishing 3 times a day. Plus ferrying luggage up to and back from the Bolthole.
