Enjoying its own garden, it stands adjacent to the owner’s house, just a mile from 14th-century Dartington Hall, with its garden walks (open to visitors), 14th-century Cott Inn – a thatched public house/restaurant, and the Cider Press Craft Centre. Totnes, 2 miles, offers a choice of shops, weekly market, swimming pool/health suite, museums, historic buildings and riverside walks. Explore Dartmoor National Park, 6 miles, and the beaches of South Hams and Torbay, 15 miles. Shops 2 miles.

Our 5th visit. Well looked after accommodation and has all we need including a comfortable bed, although we find the WIFi intermittent, we really don’t care, it’s to be expected where you are. We are happy with everything that’s offered and the family are very kind and helpful. I’d love to see a stable door one day!! Then we can open up half of it to see the view and let the air come in in the warmer months and still keep our dog in. It would look stunning. Great walk into Totnes and around Dartington. Some lovely pubs locally with great food! We have booked to come back.

Well equipped and clean, an ideal base to explore the area. Lovely quiet setting with views all around. Scones cream and homemade jam a welcome touch on arrival. Will definitely be booking again.
