We had a lovely stay at Solace, it was beautifully presented, clean and had everything we needed. The location was great and the apartment was cosy, warm and welcoming. The hosts were very considerate and left milk and bread for us which was a lovely touch! We would definitely recommend Solace and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was seamless.

"What a weekend! From the moment we arrived at Solace, we knew we were in for something special. As two couples who live for great food, good vibes, and a touch of luxury, this place ticked every single box. The interiors are absolute perfection—think soft, earthy tones, luxe touches, and plenty of cosy corners to sink into after a long day of exploring. But honestly, it’s the flow of the house that won us over. Every space feels designed for sharing laughs, stories, and way too much wine. Totnes itself was buzzing! We wandered through the Saturday market, filled our bags with fresh produce, and headed back to Solace to whip up a feast in that stunning kitchen. The open-plan layout made it so much fun to cook together while the live music from the nearby café drifted in through the windows. It was one of those magic moments that stays with you. After dinner, we cosied up in the living room with playlists and cocktails—pure bliss. And the location couldn’t be more perfect. From artisan coffee spots to the best little bakeries, we felt like locals the entire weekend. Solace truly lives up to its name: it’s a sanctuary for making memories, sharing good times, and soaking up everything Totnes has to offer. We’re already plotting our return trip!"
