Landscove House is a phenomenal Grade II listed manor house in Devon’s beautiful South Hams, offering luxurious accommodation for up to sixteen guests across eight elegant bedroom suites. Surrounded by several hundred acres of countryside, the estate also includes The Barns, restored dairy buildings providing additional boutique accommodation for up to twelve more guests if required. With lavish interiors, expansive grounds and excellent event facilities, the estate is ideal for celebrations, family gatherings, weddings and corporate stays.
Originally built around 1840, the manor house has been beautifully restored to combine period character with contemporary comfort. Grand living spaces include a drawing room, reading room, dining room and an impressive open-plan kitchen, conservatory and family room designed for sociable stays. The bedrooms are individually styled with luxurious beds, vintage touches and marble-clad bathrooms, while several feature freestanding baths, exposed beams or countryside views.
Outside, the grounds are just as impressive, with landscaped gardens, alfresco dining areas, a lily pond, lake and an outdoor swimming pool overlooking the estate. Landscove was the most idyllic destination for our trip down to Brixham. Not only was the property fully equipped throughout the kitchen, the bedrooms and bathrooms were to such a high standard. Loved the interiors, especially the feature pieces of furniture from the owner’s travels.

We had such a wonderful stay at Landscove - it really was a perfect retreat that instantly felt like our own home. The owners, Edwin and Mike were the perfect hosts - always available to provide recommendations for dining and activities in the local area and the attention to detail throughout was first class. The decor was beautiful and very tastefully done - so much so that my wife took lots of photos before we left for ideas that we hope to replicate in our own place! You must find some time to enjoy a glass of wine in the Pig Sty, overlooking the lake - we didn't want to leave!
