Although we loved the property and its location, my husband and myself have mobility issues and had a few problems with the day bed but the rest of the party were happy. We still loved the property and would recommend it to anyone with no mobility issues.

Lovely stay at Brook CottageWe recently stayed at Brook Cottage in Dawlish and found it ideal for our needs. The location is excellent — close to local amenities and perfect for both quick and long dog walks. It made a great base for exploring further along the coast too.The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. It easily accommodated the six of us plus two dogs, and we really appreciated some of the nice character features throughout. The stairs are a little steep, but that’s part of the cottage’s charm and not something that can be changed.Parking is tight for a medium‑sized vehicle, but there’s a cheap public car park just a few minutes’ walk away, which worked well for us.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the cottage played a big part in that, and we’d happily return.
