Set over three floors, Lilly’s Cottage is bright, modern and stylish, with all you’ll need to enjoy a wonderful coastal break.
On the ground floor, the kitchen and utility are amply equipped, while the dining area and living room with Smart TV and electric fire, offer a sociable space to gather after a day spent on the beach or exploring the surrounding area. Upstairs, two tasteful double bedrooms are situated on the first floor, while the top floor is home to the spacious master bedroom with a double bed and a child’s sofa bed. All three bedrooms have Smart TVs. At the back of the cottage, the enclosed courtyard is furnished with a table and chairs creating a sunny spot for outdoor dining or for making the most of the sunshine on warmer days.
Dawlish has long been a favourite destination on the South Devon coast, known for its sandy beach, traditional seafront and relaxed atmosphere. The town's shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance of the cottage, while the famous black swans that inhabit The Lawn and brook remain one of its most recognisable features. The South West Coast Path also passes nearby, offering spectacular walks along the red sandstone coastline towards Dawlish Warren and Teignmouth.
A little further afield, Teignmouth and Shaldon offer bustling waterfronts, independent shops and additional beaches to discover. From Dawlish Warren, the Exeplorer Water Taxi provides a scenic route across the estuary to Exmouth, a popular destination for watersports including sailing, paddle boarding and windsurfing. Inland, Dartmoor National Park offers a striking contrast to the coast, with its dramatic tors, ancient woodlands and wide-open landscapes, while Haldon Forest is within easy reach for walking, cycling and family adventures among the trees.

Located on the second floor, up two flights of stairs from the ground floor, Bedroom Three is furnished with a super king size bed (zip& link so can be split into twins on request), bedside tables and lamps, a Smart TV, a chest of drawers, and hanging space in the alcove
A sofa bed provides additional sleeping for one guest

The first-floor bathroom has a shower, hand basin, heated towel rail, cabinet, mirror and WC

To the rear of the property is an enclosed courtyard garden which is furnished with an outdoor table and chairs
Parking
This property does not offer designated parking however there is street parking right outside, on nearby Exeter Road and surrounding roads on a first come first served basis. There is a short stay coop car park behind the property (about 2-minutes’ walk) where guests can park to offload
Dawlish Station offers parking and is a 5-minute walk from Lilly’s Cottage
