Tucked away in the pretty hamlet of Dainton, The Garden Cottage is a detached converted barn with three-quarters of an acre of superb enclosed garden. Children can play football on the extensive lawn, complete with goal, whilst the grown-ups enjoy the secluded patio area. The traditionally furnished living area is open plan and from here an interesting, wooden spiral staircase leads to two comfortable bedrooms. Just a short drive away is the popular Dainton Park Golf Club. Non-members are welcome to use all of the facilities which include a health club and restaurant. Further afield the friendly market town of Newton Abbot is within easy reach, as are the sandy beaches and resort towns of South Devon.
Ipplepen is a village close to Totnes in Devon and near the English Riviera. With a pub, shop and Post Offic, Ipplepen is great a base for a holiday, ideally placed for exploring Devon and the South West. Totnes, five miles away, sits beside the River Dart with its Elizabethan buildings. Dartington Hall is nearby, hosting music festivals. Dartmoor National Park is accessible from Ipplepen, offering 365 square miles of moorland with isolated villages. Ipplepen provides the perfect base for your next escape.
