Step through the pink stable doors, to be greeted by a stylish kitchen/diner with enormous feature beams (some low head heights) and a roaring wood burning stove in the inglenook - just perfect to enjoy a meal with family. Two steps up take you to the chic living room, where the elegant interior has a touch of rustic luxe and an open fire.

After a day on the moor, relax and take rest in the spacious master double bedroom with the bathroom featuring a decadent roll top bath tub adjoining. Accessed via the master bedroom is the second bedroom, a super king size bed (can be twin on request) with pretty views over the garden. This gorgeous cottage ensures that everyone has a snug spot in which to relax, and a feeling of enchantment from the moment you arrive. Your outside space is just as delightful, a lawn with spring flowers and mature shrubs gives way to a covered seating area with table and chairs, perfect for enjoying summertime alfresco meals.

After an afternoon rambling in the National Park or nearby Teign Gorge, why not take an evening meal by the river or in the nearby town of Chagford, where you'll find quaint shops and boutiques. Further afield, the cathedral city of Exeter offers plenty of retail therapy and family-friendly attractions, whilst the beaches of the south coast can be reached with a short drive. Easton Cottage is the ultimate choice for your country getaway to this wonderful area of Dartmoor in Devon.

A picturesque town at the northern point of Dartmoor National Park in Devon. Chagford, one of the five Stannary towns of Dartmoor, is small in size but is packed with amenities and things to do. There is a wide range of shops as well as four pubs. Chagford also has more active facilities such as public tennis court and an open-air swimming pool to enjoy at your leisure. It is a town of great history, home to the Three Crowns Hotel which dates back to the 1200's. Chagford is well known for its culture, hosting film, literary and music festivals in the town as well as an annual running race, known as Two Hills Race. Just over 21 miles away is the bustling, beautiful city of Exeter for a different kind of break, definitely worth a visit. The charming, attractive town of Okehampton sits just 12 miles away.
