Chudleigh is an ancient wool town situated in the Teignbridge District region of Devon, offering a wealth of historical and picturesque attractions to explore year-round. The town's history dates back to the Saxon period, with numerous Saxon place names remaining in use today, as well as historical marvels such as the caverns at Rock and a hillfort from the Iron Age that overlooks the town. For a self-catered stay, Chudleigh offers a variety of services, such as two pubs, an English restaurant, convenience stores, quaint shops, and more. The Teign Valley is a stunning, steep, wooded valley on the eastern edge of Dartmoor National Park between the communities of Dunsford and Chudleigh.
