Kingsteignton, a lively town in the south of Devon, sits at the mouth of the Teign Estuary. Formerly known as England's largest village, today it is home to a significant population and a vibrant local community led by a town council. This neat and tidy community is home to quaint historic houses, not one but three churches, and a plethora of locally owned and chain stores. Whether you're looking for a bed and breakfast or a place to indulge in some sweets, you'll have your pick of establishments in which to do so in this town. Kingsteignton is a great spot to take the kids and the dog since there are lots of green spaces, a pond, and a nature reserve to explore, and because the town has a variety of sports facilities for people of all ages to enjoy.
