Private parking for 1 car; additional on road parking. No smoking.. The Old Toll House is a modern, cosy, yet spacious holiday cottage set in the heart of the seaside village of Shaldon. Set over three floors, it sleeps up to eight guests in three bedrooms. As you enter the property through the front floor, you will find yourself in between the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all you could need to rustle up a good meal, and the dining area next door benefits from a large dining table and additional fridge/freezer. A door from the kitchen leads into the spacious utility room, and another door leads onto the low maintenance and sunny rear courtyard garden. Upstairs on the first floor is the bright and airy living room, with its Smart TV and plenty of seating. There is also a separate toilet on this floor as well as a kingsize bedroom. The second floor is where the family bathroom is, as well as a further two bedrooms; one with a double bed and the other with two double beds, perfect as a children’s room or for individuals happy to share.

Being set in Shaldon itself, many properties are very difficult to park at and even manoeuvring through the lanes can be difficult at the best of times. However, the property is located just one road away from the town and an off-road parking space directly outside is a real added bonus. This is a great location for those looking to stay in Shaldon and enjoy the fantastic beach and nearby restaursnts or for exploring the nearby town of Teignmouth, the English Riviera (made up of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham) or even to travel slightly further afield to the well known Dartmouth and Salcombe. The Old Toll House is a charming and comfortable place to base. Beach 350 yards.

    We stayed for 4 nights over New Year and the property is located in lovely town of Shaldon. Some great pubs and restaurants in walking distance. We took our 2 labradors with us and there was a park within a minutes walk away and beach not far either. Ness Cove beach also nearby and you access through a tunnel. Teignmouth only 25 min walk into town centre or afew minutes in the car. Parking ok but if you have more than one car there may not always be a parking spot but plenty of local car parks
