There are also a number of interesting towns and villages in the area, including the attractive town of Bideford, with its range of independent shops, and the pretty harbour village of Appledore, from where visitors may enjoy a boat trip across the estuary to the village of Instow. For young thrill seekers, a trip to The Milky Way Adventure Park is not to be missed, with its family friendly rollercoasters and other attractions.
