Had a great week, cottage was nice. Lovely village locals were very friendly and welcoming. They even had bingo at the British legion we won £15 and a raffle prize. Would recommend.

Absolutely brilliant stay- immaculately clean well equipped house. Everything was well thought out for guests- the welcome pack was a lovely touch. The village is very friendly and appears to have a good community spirit. Lovely owners who communicated very well with us when we needed it.Three pubs, two handy shops including PO and a chippie!! Heartily recommend the Sea Shanty night on Wednesday at the Anchor. Also good food. We were lucky that the farmers market was on the first Sunday of the month and it was fabulous. The village hall also were going refreshments including breakfasts. Hartland is handy for many places of interest too. You can take a meandering bus from Hartland all the way to Bideford for a relaxing trip We very much hope to return

Such a fabulous cottage, the owners have thought of absolutely everything. We have 2 small dogs, the garden was totally secure which gave real piece of mind. We have grown up kids but this cottage is carefully thought about for much younger children. Stair gates top and bottom and a gate at the top of the garden steps too. The location is perfect for exploring all Hartland has to offer, while being in walking distance to 3 pubs, a fish and chip shop, coffee shop, post office and local shop.
