Pack a frisbee and some doggy treats and take a stroll to Peppercombe Beach, the nearest beach near your holiday cabin, hear the pebbles beneath your feet and walk through the wooded valley nearby. Being located in Hartland Devon Heritage Coast means there are plenty more beaches to explore, soak in the scenery of cliffs and the coast, refuel in the pubs and admire the geology.
Continue your adventure inland at The Milky Way Adventure Park, where little ones can dart between dodgems, admire the Star Wars displays, or watch birds of prey up close, it's the perfect family-friendly day out before returning to the quiet of the coast. Settled along the edges of the scenic Hartland Devon Heritage Coast, is the charming semi-rural hamlet of Buck’s Cross in Bideford. The hamlet is home to the popular Bideford Bay Holiday Park which offers a wealth of facilities for guests, including an on-site restaurant and bar, convenience store, and an indoor and outdoor swimming pools, as well as a Post Office and beautiful church. Nearby, you will find the charming Gnome Reserve and Wildflower Garden which is filled with over 1,000 gnomes, with walks among the wildflower-filled gardens, a museum and pottery workshops ready to be enjoyed. Just a short walk away is The Milky Way Adventure Park which has rollercoasters, a play area, wildlife displays and the North Devon Wake Park. Clovelly is nearby and boasts a beautiful waterfall surrounded by woodland, as well as a glorious, pebbled beach and donkey stables where you can meet the sweet farm animals.
